Here you can find the updated results and progress of the ETSM2030 project!
#1: Call & Selection process of SMTEs
In the first step of the ETSM2030
project, the Call was announced and the participants were selected. You can
find a presentation of all our participants in the section participants. Our ETSM2030 team selected
the most promising SMTEs and ranked them. You can find the ranking also in the
section participants.
#2: Status Quo of Sustainability
In the second step of the ETSM2030 project, the status quo of sustainability of our participants was examined by completing a questionnaire and an interview. This determination of the status quo builds the starting point for the journey to more knowledge about sustainability practices. In addition, based on the status quo of sustainability as well as on the interests, which were examined during the interview, the ETSM2030 participants were assigned to different Clusters. In the following, the results of this project step are presented.
Results of the Status Quo Analysis
You can download the full Status-Quo Report here, in different languages: English, German, Italian and Polish.
Clustering
Based on the status quo results and the interests of our participants, they were assigned to different clusters, which in future should help to find SIP-partners or topics, the participants can work on together.
#3: SIPs – Sustainability Innovation Projects
SIPs
are Sustainable Innovation Projects in the ETSM2030 project. A minimum of two and a maximum of four ETSM2030 participants can take
part in a SIP, where the SIP-partners have to com e from at least two different
countries, to promote cross-border exchange.
A SIP project has to show the following features:
· A SIP project must be sustainable, i. e. contribute to environmental, economic or social aspects
· A SIP project should be based on an innovation. This can be a completely new invention or an improvement for the company
· A SIP must be concrete, e. g. the development or improvement of a product, a project, the introduction of a technology, the optimization of processes, a social media campaign, the development of a prototype, etc.
· A short final report must be submitted at the end of the SIP.
Examples for SIPs are improving energy efficiency in hotels or restaurants, the introduction of a system for reducing waste, development of sustainable transportation solutions etc.
The timeline of the SIPs starts in July 2024 by finding a SIP idea and SIP partners, the second and third Phase of the development and testing as well as coaching starts in October 2024 and runs until September 2025. The last phase, where selected SIPs are presented starts in October 2025 and ends in December 2025.
Stay tuned: Soon we will present our SIP-projects here!
