We proudly present our participants of the ETSM2030 project! Out of six different countries motivated tourism SMTEs are taking part in ETSM2030 to get more sustainable and network across borders. In the following, you can find more information about our motivated, sustainable-working participants.
Selection of our participants
After the call was closed, the project consortium counted the received applications. The total number of received applications was 144, including:
- Austria: 35
- Germany: 14
- Italy: 17
- Poland: 21
- Romania: 36
- Slovenia: 21
Once the submission process was closed, the project consortium started the evaluation and selection process divided into the following consecutive steps:
- Verification of the eligibility criteria (6-10 July 2023);
- Evaluation of the applications by consortium partners (11-17 July 2023);
- Creation of national rankings (15-17 July 2023);
- Selection of the applications (18-24 July 2023).
In the final step of the process, the Selection and Evaluation Committee was completed by including five industry experts and two scientific experts in sustainable management and monitoring. One of the five industry experts was located in the respective country of the SMTE. The committee managed and supervised the evaluation and selection process, ensuring fairness and transparency. The external experts determined the final order of SMTEs in the national ranking lists of enterprises qualifying to participate in the program. They made their decisions based on all needed documents provided by the beneficiaries of the ETSM2030 program, including the evaluation criteria listed in the call and the ranking lists of the pre-selected SMTEs suitable for participation.
